Wedding Music Introduction

As the bride, you have enough to think about, without worrying that the band doesn't share your view of how the wedding reception should flow. Our musicians understand the fine art of pacing the music appropriately and will talk it over with you before the wedding the make sure your wishes are fulfilled.

We can tailor an entertainment plan for the ceremony and/or the reception as you wish. For example we helped make one happy couple's day even happier with this wedding day entertainment plan for their beautiful garden wedding at Glen Ewin Estate :

While guests enjoy drinks on the lawn outside immediately after the beautiful wedding ceremony The Cocktail Society Traditional Dixieland Jazz Quartet (trumpet, clarinet, banjo, sousaphone/tuba) provide acoustic entertainment next to the lake.

Guests head inside the function centre to begin their meal. An extra musician joins the band and The Cocktail Society Quintet (trumpet/vocal, sax/clarinet, banjo/guitar/vocal, upright acoustic bass, drum kit) entertain with light background music from Bossa Nova through to straight ahead swing jazz standards.

As the night progresses the band gradually get funkier and throw in some blues, funk, Rock 'n 'Roll, and Latin numbers while the guests join in on the dance floor.

The above example illustrates how our bands here at Music Adelaide are available in a number of formats and our professional musicians can switch styles to provide just the right atmosphere for your special day. You're dealing with sensitive musicians who have the sophistication and taste to take you and your guests on an appropriate musical mood journey while you enjoy your special day. We can tailor the entertainment package to meet your needs so contact us with your ideas so we can give you some suggestions.
