Play Video DemoThe hauntingly beautiful sound of the flute has proven to be a very popular choice for church weddings. We offer a number of options including flute and guitar duo, flute and harp duo, flute quartet or trio. Our talented musicians can set the scene for a truly memorable wedding with their mix of classical and pop ballads before the arrival of the bride, the processional as the bride walks down the aisle, while the bridal register is signed, for the recessional as the happy couple exit the church and while guests mingle and congratulate the couple after the ceremony. An Organ & Trumpet duo can give you the fairytale wedding you've dreamed of. Trumpets have been used throughout history to accentuate dramatic moments and add brilliance to ceremonial occasions. You can choose one of the traditional wedding processionals: Clarke's "Trumpet Voluntary" or from Wagner's opera Lohengrin the "Bridal Chorus" ("Here Comes The Bride"). For the recessional, as you are pronounced "man and wife", your family and friends will celebrate to the triumphant strains of Mendelssohn's "Wedding March". The organist will provide appropriate music before the ceremony and play any hymns that you may or may not choose to sing at the wedding. A classical brass quartet are ideal for those who desire the sense of elegance and tradition that comes with having classical music at their ceremony. Traditional Jazz
For those couples who have chosen not to have a traditional church wedding we have two wonderful options ideally suited to outdoor weddings. Our traditional jazz quartets have delighted guests in numerous garden and winery weddings and even a beach wedding or two. The group you select for your wedding will create a wonderful mood of happy celebration as the guests and groom wait for the Bridal Party to arrive. Many couples have found it great to have quartet stay and perform for the reception with other Music Adelaide musicians to play in a larger combo to lift the mood even more as the night rolls on. We are able to arrange a special discount package on such occasions.
The Atlantic Street Band
Consisting of trumpet, trombone, baritone sax, and drums this group play New Orleans jazz and lively renditions of popular songs played in the style of a genuine New Orleans Street Band. Equally at home setting the scene for a ceremony, they are also a popular choice for receptions (particularly outdoor). As well as their instrumentals they also create a party mood by their energetic group vocals. This group are popular with young and old and were immensely popular earlier this year at the 2009 Fringe Family Weekend in Rymill Park and the East End Jazz Festival. The four members form the core of our most popular wedding reception band "Atlantis (The Lost Band of)" who specilaise in jazzed up versions of some of the funkiest disco and pop hits from the 60s, 70s and onwards. The Cocktail Society Traditional Dixieland Jazz Band
With banjo, trumpet, clarinet, and tuba/sousaphone this group play a selection of traditional jazz standards to put a smile on the face of even the grumpiest of guests. A wonderful choice for your wedding ceremony or as with our other quartet they would be equally at home at the reception. Another selling point for this highly experienced group is that they are equally adept at playing in smaller rooms where the volume should be kept to a minimum or filling a large room or garden with their catchy grooves.
